• Beyond the Usual Suspects: New Evidence on Priority Understudied Chemicals in ECHO

Pregnant people are exposed to a wide range of environmental chemicals, yet health effects have been studied for only a small fraction of them. This seminar will highlight how the ECHO Program is advancing research on priority understudied chemicals through innovative biomonitoring and large-scale epidemiologic studies, including new findings linking prenatal exposures to birth outcomes in more than 5,000 pregnancies.

  • The Microfiber Challenge: What’s at Stake and What’s Possible

Join FABSCRAP for a conversation with experts working across environmental science, public health, and innovative engineering to explore the microfiber problem from multiple perspectives. We’ll discuss where microfibers come from, what accelerates their release, what we know—and don’t yet know—about their impacts, and what can be done to address the problem.

  • 2026 Plastics and Human Health Symposium

The symposium will highlight urgent needs, present recent scientific evidence, and serve as a continuation of our collaborative dialogue on the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee’s process toward a Global Plastics Treaty, to ensure that the protection of human health remains a priority within this process.
