Plastics, Endocrine Disruption, and Human Health
April 8 @ 2:00 pm
St. Luke’s and Idaho Clinicians for Climate Health continue their lecture series addressing health and climate change.
Plastics are everywhere, from packaging to medical devices, but their hidden costs to human health are becoming increasingly clear. This session will examine how plastic waste, chemicals and microplastics contribute to endocrine disruption and chronic disease risk. Dr. Leonardo Trasande will highlight the latest research on the health consequences of plastic exposure and discuss actionable strategies to reduce our dependency on plastics for a healthier future.
